At Happy Computer, I help you with anything from slow laptops to strange error messages, or just those tech questions you don’t know who to ask.

The world is becoming more digital by the day, and we depend on our devices to stay connected. When they work, everything feels easy. But when something breaks, slows down, or shows an error for no clear reason, everyday tasks suddenly become stressful: you can’t check your email, access your bank, or even see your photos.
And replacing your device isn’t always the solution. New tech can be expensive, and it doesn’t bring back your lost data, restore your access, or help you understand what went wrong.
That’s where Happy Computer comes in.
We’re a small local service based near Arnhem, and we come to you. Like a roadside assistance team for your tech, we show up, figure out the problem, fix it if we can, and explain it in plain language. We’ll also help you prevent it from happening again.
Most of the time, repairing your device is faster, easier, and much cheaper than replacing it. We don’t just fix laptops or phones, we help with everything from cloud access and lost passwords to solar panel monitors, smart home devices, and even car software.

Because we believe your computer (and your tech) should make your life easier, and yes, even make you happy.

What happens when you reach out?
We’re a local service, working in and around Arnhem, roughly within a 30 km radius. When you call or message us, we respond as quickly as we can, usually within an hour.
From there, you tell us what’s going on. Small issues can often be solved right away, and if it’s a quick fix we can walk you through by message, we won’t charge you a thing. If it’s something that needs more attention, we’ll ask if we can bring your device to our workshop, where we have the tools and setup to work faster and more efficiently.
Once your device is fixed, we bring it back to you. While we’re working, we’ll keep you in the loop, what the issue is, how long it’ll take, and what the cost will be. You’re always in control, and if you decide not to move forward, we’ll return your device promptly.
We’re happy to communicate in whatever way is easiest for you—whether it’s a phone call, email, WhatsApp, SMS, or Signal (we prefer Signal, but it’s up to you). And although we’re techies at heart, we explain things in everyday language that makes sense. No jargon, no pressure.
We also try to make sure you stay in contact with the same person who visited you; it’s just easier when you know who you’re talking to. First-name basis, always.
And don’t worry if you’re not sure how to describe the problem. Just explain it in your own words, we’ll listen, we’ll ask clear questions, and we’ll figure it out together.
What we charge
We charge a flat rate of €30 per hour — and that includes travel time and VAT.

We charge a flat rate of €30 per hour, and that includes travel time and VAT. You only pay for the time we’re actually working. No hidden fees. No idle-time charges. Just honest, efficient help when you need it.
In many cases, fixing your device is far more affordable than replacing it. For example, if your laptop screen breaks, buying a new one could cost you €400 or more. But we can replace the screen for you. usually within a few days, and you’ll only pay for the time we spend working (typically about two hours), plus the cost of the new screen (around €50).
Total? About €110, and your familiar laptop is back in action.
You save nearly €300, avoid the stress of setting up a new device, and keep one more gadget out of the landfill.
That’s good for your wallet, and the planet.

I started Happy Computer because people kept asking me to help with their tech, and I really enjoy fixing things. I’ve helped over 100 neighbors already.
I believe in fixing instead of replacing. I believe in making things work for you, not the other way around.
And I believe that tech doesn’t have to be confusing (or stressful).
So now it’s official: I come to you, fix the problem, and make sure everything works before I leave. I’ll also explain what went wrong, and how to avoid it in the future.
